We are senior volunteers representing Senior Connections at the Farmingdale Public Library. The purpose of this blog is to create an interactive environment to address senior concerns and issues. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens in their home communities by providing access to information and resources, and counseling service, when appropriate. This linkage pertains to federal, state, and local programs, regulations and services affecting seniors, such as :
Partial Tax Exemption
Enhanced STAR
Medicare
EPIC
Assisted Living
Community services, etc.
We would also be glad to address questions of a general nature commensurate with our backgrounds and knowledge.
We can be reached in three ways:
